Pembroke Pines, FL Day 2

  • Fixed driver side mirror upper support arm
  • Re-attached rear camera screen
  • Screwed down center console
  • Cleaned inside cab windows, mirrors and dash
  • Re-attached driver side A pillar cover
  • Lubed all door catches and locks
  • Added 3/4 gal distilled water to coolant reservoir; cleared low coolant warning
  • Found nest of leaves, plastic bags between turbo and engine, which was likely a palm rat.
  • Wire harness heat shield was chewed, but wires appear intact
  • Engine air filter looks clean, but left side cover retention clip is missing
  • Power steering reservoir was high past hot-high mark when engine cold
  • Removed ~8oz power steering fluid
  • Grate over cabin air filter intake is broken
  • Found what appears to be a broken washer fluid hose laying across top of engine
  • Lower front grill mounts are loose in mounts
  • Battery was at 11.1V -137amps when key turned on
  • Ran engine for 30 minutes
  • Backup alarm works
  • Right front brake binding slightly
  • Rear bumper 15.5” when kneeled; 20” when aired up
  • Approx. 4.5” over rear wheels when aired up
  • Backed truck up 50 ft/pulled forward. Backed up and turned
  • Tire air pressure: all should be 110psi
